Garage Floor Cranes

The Floor Crane is designed for a whole range of shop floor lifting jobs. There are two main types of garage crane, the Extending Leg and the counterbalance Crane. Both are designed for ease of use with a hydraulic pump for lifting and heavy duty castors to make moving even under load easy. The controls are simple to use making lowering the load accurate and easy.

The Extending Lag crane is the simplest form of mobile crane, it folds away for easy transportation and is lightweight to make it easily mobile. There are capacities available of up to 2.5Ton.

The counterbalance crane has the added advantage of not having the extending legs that protrude out to the front. Instead it has easily manageable removable weights to counteract the load you are lifting. This design overcomes the problem of lifting loads that are sitting on the floor without any footing room.

Hydraulic Pumps

There are a wide range of hydraulic pumps available. The Standard Hand Pump is the most commonly used and is available in a range of specifications.

• Pressure - 10,000psi to 40,000psi available
• 0.037in3/stroke to 152in3/stroke
• Reservoir Capacity from 20in3 to 155in3

The Test pump is an important tool for ensuring pipe working is up to pressure. It has a simple and reliable two geared pump to ensure light operation. Operating pressure can be accurately monitored with optional built in gauge up to 10,000psi capacity.

There are a range of motorised hydraulic pumps, including Air Powered and Electric powered. These have an operating pressure of 10,000psi and are ideal for use to accurately operate more than one piece of equipment due to their large flow rate.

There are a wide range of Hydraulic attachments and accessories available for hire from Protier. Some of the products available are:

• Gauges - Available in different pressures, also available displaying Tons if matted with the correct Rams.
• Nut Splitters - Available with capacities of up to 5 Tons
• Hydraulic Wedges - Ideal for splitting heavy objects. Capacities from 0.75Ton up to 1Ton with various strokes from 12mm to 300mm
• High Pressure Hoses - Our equipment is supplied with high pressure hosing with safe working pressures from 10,000PSI to 40,000PSI.
• Manifolds are designed for working more than one piece of equipment at a time usually using one pump. Ideal for multi-ram lifts that need to be kept level. There are many types including Valve type so that you can control the bias of pressure to the equipment.
• High Quality Hydraulic oil - This oil is ideal for all your hydraulic lifting equipment, ensuring reliability and performance.
